Design Your Home
After you've chosen a home plan and an exterior design that appeals to you most. it's time to customize it to fit your family's lifestyle. You can customize any of our home plans and elevations (exteriors) to your liking. You can choose from a range of different options when it comes to interior design including brick, paint, flooring, roof color, appliances, moving walls, adding closet space, and adding square footage.
Get A Construction Estimate
We believe that the price of a house shouldn't be determined by its own size or whether there are allowances included. Once you've designed your home to your exact specifications, a sales consultant will provide upfront cost guides for your new home. We quote a price for your completed home as per our specifications. As long as you fulfill your obligations to prepare for construction and your specifications stay the same, the price you pay for your new home won't change from the day you sign your contract.
Sign The Contract
Once you've selected your home and customized your space, it's time to sign a contract for it. You’ll start by reviewing and approving drawings, then begin planning for construction, which includes determining timelines, requesting permits, and preparing the land for construction.
Prepare The Land
Before construction can begin, there are several items that must be completed. Before anything can happen, some sites require clearing or grading. Soil tests, surveys, and plot plans, among others, are just some of the steps that must be taken. Final Walkthrough And Move-In
Once everything is ready, it’s finally time to start digging! As construction begins, we will be in constant contact with you. While you may not see any activity at your home site at times, you can be sure there is always something being done in the overall build of the home. Listed below is an outline showing the order of progress for building a home:
1. Site preparation - clearing, grading, utility installation
2. Design & Planning – designing the layout of the rooms, selecting finishes, colors, fixtures
3. Pre-fabrication - ordering materials, scheduling work, etc.
4. Foundation - pouring concrete footings, setting rebar, etc.
5. Framing - framing out the structure, installing windows, doors, insulation, drywall
6. Plumbing/Electrical - plumbing pipes, electrical wiring, etc.
7. Drywall - applying wallboard, hanging ceilings, etc.
8. Interior finish - painting, carpeting, trimming
9. Exterior finish - siding, stucco, etc.
10. Finishing touches - landscaping, finishing floors, etc.
11. Occupancy - final inspections, permitting, etc.
12. Completion - move in and clean up
